On the 19th of November the educative campaign centred on the right uses of antibiotics took place in Futurum shopping centre. Volunteers throughout all schoolyears have participated in the event and their job was to ask passers-by to fill a form prepared by the ČLK (the Czech pharmaceutical association). The main purpose of the event was to bust all the well-spread myths about the antibiotics’ efficiency against infections and flu, to provide information about all the versatile antibiotics and their right usage, and to draw attention to the serious problem of antibiotic resistance.
Even this year a huge amount of students and accommodating participants, who did not hesitate to discuss, share opinions and enrich themselves with new take-aways, took part in the event. To sum it all up – we were able to get circa 100 filled forms and the answers from public were then sent to the ČLK.
