Bioanalytics and Pharmacy Fair

18/04/2024

On April 18, 2024, the corridor of the Pharmaceutical Faculty was filled with students and exhibitors as the 6th annual Bioanalytics and Pharmacy Fair organized by the Czech Pharmaceutical Students' Association took place here.

The fair was inaugurated by the Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty, Assoc. Prof. PharmDr. Jaroslav Roh Ph.D. Throughout the day, short lectures from exhibitors took place in Lecture Hall C. In the faculty corridor, 30 exhibitors with their booths awaited all attendees, aiming to introduce students to the job market in the pharmaceutical industry and present their offerings of internships and professional placements. Traditional pharmacies were present, but pharmaceutical companies, pharmacovigilance companies, associations, hospitals, and government agencies outnumbered them. Also presented was the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies within the Pharmaceutical Faculty.

A welcome package consisting of a canvas bag, a notepad, and promotional materials from exhibitors was prepared for all visitors.

The fair concluded with a raffle draw and announcement of competitions, to which individual companies contributed valuable prizes. We believe that all participants enjoyed the fair and, above all, expanded their horizons in their potential employment.

We thank the exhibitors, especially Dr. Max, BENU, IQVIA, Zentiva, Motol University Hospital, General Health Insurance Company, České Budějovice Hospital, EUC, BONATE pharmacies, My Pharmacy, and others...

During the 6th annual Bioanalytics and Pharmacy Fair, we once again had the opportunity to be inspired about our career paths after completing our studies or where we might go for internships. In the faculty corridor, dozens of exhibitors set up their booths with promotional materials and often snacks and coffee, where we could talk to professionals and gain insight into their work. In addition to exhibitors from pharmacy environments, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, or government agencies were also present, so the selection was truly diverse, and everyone could find exactly what interested them the most. Throughout the day, lectures by exhibitors took place in the lecture hall, serving as a great overview of all possible employment opportunities. As every year, the turnout was huge, and the corridor was quite crowded, but nevertheless, as students, we really enjoyed the fair and look forward to next year.

Thursday was the day when students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty at Charles University could find out what career opportunities exist after their studies. The corridor was filled with exhibitors from pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, hospitals, government agencies, insurance companies, and many other sectors. In addition to booths, where we had the opportunity to chat directly about the future job scope and possibilities of internships or placements, twenty-minute lectures were prepared for us students, where we learned more information about the companies. The fair was very beneficial for me, and I would like to thank the Czech Pharmaceutical Students' Association for the excellent organization and allowing this event to happen.
