The soft skills training on emotional intelligence was great. Denda and Matěj explained to us what emotional intelligence is and its components (self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills, and relationship management). We all had the chance to reflect on our strengths and weaknesses. We tried out recognizing emotions through pantomime. We learned more about active listening and practiced its principles in a discussion on controversial topics. The emotional compass was the most enriching for me. It's a great tool that helps us better describe and recognize what we're feeling. As an additional useful strategy, Denda and Matěj introduced us to the STOP technique, which is useful for improving self-control. Overall, it was an inspiring and useful experience that supported personal growth and understanding of emotions. Thank you!
